Which one fits your situation?
10kWh is usually enough if:
- You mainly want to cover lights, fans, TV, fridge and general daily use during outages
- Grid power is reasonably frequent, and you're bridging shorter gaps rather than going fully off-grid for long stretches
- You're working with a tighter budget and can size up later if needed
15kWh is worth the extra cost if:
- You run heavier loads — air conditioning, water pumping, or office/shop equipment — alongside general appliances
- Grid power in your area is unreliable enough that you need longer stretches of backup
- You're planning for a business or larger household where downtime has a real cost
